Thursdays class was a beating! The good news is, I wasn't the only one who seemed to be struggling. I'm not sure why I was so ... blah. Maybe it was because I pushed myself to do all the lunges (60 of them) on Tuesday. My booty was still sore.
I felt like I was breathing harder. I felt more sluggish. I felt so ... weak compared to the other classes.
I'm going to write it off as pushing myself too hard on Tuesday. Nest week, I still plan on pushing myself in hopes that my body will adjust.
Monday I do my "official weigh-in" but as of this morning ... 138.6!

Half Way There!
Last night we focused on toning our legs. During our high ... intensity 30 minutes, we were supposed to do 125 jumping jacks. Last week, I think I was only able to do 50 and I think the last half of those were pretty sloppy. This week, I actually did 75 good ones before decreasing the intensity in half. I did over half of them! My goal for next week? I want to do at least 75 again if not more.
I think the scale rewarded me this morning for my job well done last night ... 140.6! 10.6 pounds to go before I reach my goal weight. I still have a ways to go to meet my physical goal ... I want to be able to jog for about at least 30 minutes at a decent pace. We're working on getting a treadmill so I'll be able to "practice" my form before going outside where others can see.

Why I'm Doint This
I want a way to track my stats from (1) my diet and (2) my workouts (aka my aerobics class).
I'll start by saying this ...
I started low carb last Tuesday and aerobics last Monday. On my eating ... I've had a few "cheats" but overall I feel I've been doing pretty good. My starting weight was 146.6 pounds (last Monday). This Monday ... 142.2 pounds. Down 4.5 pounds! Not bad. My goal? 130 pounds and a size 6 pant.
My aerobics ... classes meet every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings for one hour each. Mondays and Thursdays we do 30 minutes of step aerobics, 15 minutes of arm toning and 15 minutes of abs. Tuesdays we focus on the legs doing 30 minutes of jogging, jumping jacks and other high ... can't think of the word ... exercises followed by 15 minutes of leg toning. We finish the class with 15 minutes of abs.
My aerobics instructor took my measurements last week and I was hoping to get the numbers from her at last nights class. Unfortunately, she's going to be out for a while due to a small car accident (she and her husband are fine) and vacation. I'll get those posted as soon as I can. As for the measurements I took myself ... last Monday my waist measured 34 inches. This Monday was 33 inches. I'm thinking I can't trust my own measurements ... no matter how much I want to.
Back to weight ... this morning, the scale was good to me ... 141.0!
